Temple 57 was originally founded with the owners John J. Mesa and Michael Kinney. Michael Kinney, a retired Los Angeles Sheriff, retired from Temple 57 back in 2013 and asked only one thing of his partner, to never change the name of the company.
TEMPLE 57 was founded in tribute to one of our friends, brother Deputy, and Michael Kinney's partner in Los Angeles. While working patrol at Temple Sheriff's station in Los Angeles, Kinney's partner was killed during a routine traffic stop. However, no traffic stop is truly routine, as there is always a possible threat to the life of the deputy or officer. The area was designated as Temple, and 57 was his squad car number. The number "57" was retired after his death. We began this company in tribute to the fallen Deputy.
Although it has been many years, we here at Temple 57 keep honoring our fellow brother by protecting the innocent and investigating in the name of truth.
The Double-Headed Eagle is a common symbol in heraldry and the Swords pointed down are a symbol of those who have fought and died in battle.
WE ARE HONORED TO FOREVER CARRY THE TEMPLE 57 NAME
